Community AI adoption in Southeast Asia
What 233 completed community events reveal about participation, programming and continuity across Southeast Asia.

We analysed 233 completed community events across Southeast Asia, with 22,361 registration instances across 209 measured events.
The patterns differ by country. Malaysia has the most frequent calendar, with smaller rooms built around peer learning and hands-on experimentation. Singapore has a more curated mix of workshops, roundtables and showcases. Indonesia leans towards structured practical learning. Vietnam concentrates more activity in large hackathons and shared build programmes.
Registrations measure interest. The next useful measure is what people build, test and keep using after an event ends.
